RRI with and for Research Managers: get set for Horizon Europe!

Catalan Project Managers 9th Annual Meeting

The 9th Annual Catalan Project Managers Meeting will focus this year on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI): “RRI With and For Research Managers: Get set for Horizon Europe” and will be held online.

RRI implies a collective commitment to carry out research processes in a transparent, reflexive, inclusive and adaptive manner. The different RRI dimensions are of special relevance in the implementation of Horizon Europe 2021-2027, both in the preparation and in the management of the projects, and help to fulfil its main strategic guidelines and boost research and innovation impact.

The 9th Meeting’s Agenda includes:

  • The presentation of the new European funding, “Next Generation”, in Catalunya, as well as a plenary session about RRI in Horizon Europe on behalf of the European Commission (in English).
  • Four parallel participative sessions, in which participants will learn about experiences and share queries with other project managers regarding how to integrate RRI in European projects, and how to support researchers in those issues. The topics of the workshops include: open science, promoting gender equality, ethics and integrity, and governance in RRI.
  • A final session with tips on how to participate in Horizon Europe, the institutional changes regarding RRI implemented in the framework of the GRACE project, the results of Catalan participation in Horizon 2020, and the conclusions from the 2020 Project manager Report.

In the poster section you will find projects and initiatives that have been put in place in Catalunya, related to RRI, with a small presentation of each of them, and we are sure they will be useful and inspiring for you. We encourage you to check them out and give feedback or ask any questions you have online.
